Other Info	Commissioned in to the 5th Battalion. He was gassed and subsequently invalided back to the UK. He was not discharge immediately, and received a posting to Dublin, where he served as the assistant adjutant. He died in 1974, and the death certificate in part states that he died as a consequence of the injuries he received, as a result of the gas.
