Other InfoEntered theatre of war in May 1917. Served in 'A' Company, 2nd Battalion and fought at the BATTLE OF THE MENIN ROAD in September 1917. Silver War Badge number 230061 (awarded 8th July 1919). After the war worked as Solicitor, Mahany & Heath, 36 Fore Street, Saltash, Cornwall. In the 1950's he was first at Porter & Hutchings, 3 North Hill Terrace, Tavistock Road, Plymouth and then later at Square, Geake & Windeatt, 1 Athenaeum Place, Plymouth - as a solicitor.
