Other InfoHe was originally commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment in March 1915, transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in October 1916 and served on the staff of 3rd Brigade H.Q., gaining advancement to the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel by the War’s end. Demobilised in February 1919, Isaac served in the 1939-45 War as a Flight Lieutenant in the Administrative & Special Duties Branch, once more being demobilised in May 1945
