Other Info | Born in 1892. Educated at Whiteladies House at Worcester Grammar School, Worcester. Married Mary Emery Teague in the December quarter of 1914 Coventry, Warwickshire. Son of Charles H. Hiscock, a draper, and Kate Beatrice Hiscock of 1 Market Street, Atherstone, Warwickshire. Arrived with the 9th Battalion in Gallipoli on the 13th July 1915. He was wounded at Hanna but later rejoined the 9th Battalion on the 20th June 1916. Died during the battle of KUT-AL-AMARA. AMARA WAR CEMETERY, Iraq - grave Ref: XVIII. B. 5. |
