Other Info | He was a regular soldier and served with the 4th Battalion in Burma before going out with them to Gallipoli in April 1915. On the 6th August 1915 he was trapped in an enemy trench and made a prisoner by the Turks. He was a prisoner of war for 3 years. He died at his home, 561 Shirley Road, Hall Green Birmingham on the 26th January 1965. |
