Other Info | He signed up with the Gloucestershire Regiment to be with brother but was transferred after 10 days to the Worcestershire in September 1914. Served in Gallipoli with the 9th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment. He was shot in the eye in Gallipoli and eventually returned home to Halmore Glos. Discharged due to wounds and awarded a Silver War Badge. He died of flu in 1918. |
