Other Info | Wounded and taken to 35 Casualty Clearing Station then on to 1 S.A. General Hospital from there to Cosham Military Hospital in the U.K. After WW1 he continued to serve with the Worcesters in Germany Malta and China as well as postings in U.K. He was graded A2 medical. It seems that on 3rd Sept. 1939 he enlisted or was transferred to the East Surrey Regiment and being in his early forties it seems he had applied for a medical discharge in 1940. He died on the 8th November 1941 in Watford Military Hospital. His rank at time of death was W.O.2 CSM - (army number 5240231). |
