He was killed 9 (age 21) in action on the 12th August 1915 during an attack at Damakjelik Bair. He was born in Smethwick, Staffordshire, the son of William & Alice Derrington and lived in 265 Heath Street, Winson Green, Birmingham. He has know known grave and is remembered at the Helles Memorial, Turkey. |
